What we do

 What we do

We provide a wide range of  ways  people can interact and engage with our animals to suit all people.

Education

We can provide educational presentaions at the centre. It could be on a specific animal or general animal care.

Therapy visits

As well as having people visit the centre, we can also arrange visits to care homes, schools and educational groups.

Hands-on experience

Opportunities to help with the day-to-day, hands on care of some of our 1600+  rescue animals.

Bringing people and animals together.

PACT is the largest all animal rescue centre in East Anglia, providing an amazing environment for people to work with a large variety of species, giving them the opportunity to gain invaluable experience.
There are many proven studies that show the benefits of animal interaction. Some of the benefits include reduced blood pressure, increased focus and attention, increased self-esteem, improved fine motor skills, improved social skills, reduced anxiety and depression, help with grief, increased trust, empathy and teamwork. We have seen significant improvement in some of our volunteers who come and work in the therapy centre. The schools have also reported how pleased they are with the connections some of the students have made with the animals and improvement in their social and fine motor skills.
